If you are looking to individualize your items in a cost-effective manner, we offer heat press and transfers. With our heat press, we can apply die-cut vinyl to garments and some products. This is often used for sports shirts for individual names and numbers. This is more cost effective than screen printing because there is less set up time involved in producing a singular item.
Images or text is entered into a program that is connected with a vinyl cutter. Vinyl comes in long rolls and runs through the cutter and an automated razor blade goes through and die-cuts the images out. After the image is cut out, it is placed on the item and placed on the pallet of the heat press (which is basically a huge flatbed hot iron on a lever with a pallet that can have it’s pressure and temperature adjusted). The heat press is lowered down and locked into position applying the right amount of pressure, at the right temperature, for the right amount of time. The back of the vinyl is sticky but when heat pressed becomes permanently adhered to the garment.
